Doggie Doo Game – As strange as the name sounds, and strange it is, players will throw a dice to decide how often they will need to squeeze a plastic dachshund’s lead. Each squeeze of the lead will push some plasticine poop nearer and nearer towards the business end of said dog. When the doggy has done his deed, the player holding the lead will have to clean up the poop with their little spade. It’s the first player to 3 that wins.

A few years ago an inventor came up with the idea of a dog pooping game, they realised that most children find all kinds of bodily functions very funny. After much trial and error the doggy doo game was born. Time after time the company tried to launch this game into the marketplace but they received quite a few knock backs. Luckily for us however, they persisted and finally launched the game in Europe a few years ago.
It was first launched in Germany known as the “Kackel Dackel” and it started to get attention in the US and the UK. There is a lot of buzz around this product and so it is with great pleasure that we bring doggy doo to you today. There were various names for this product and it took a while to get the right one, things like; pooping puppy and the like were thrown around but it eventually ended up with the name of “Doggy Doo”. It was only released in May 2011 after being unveiled at a toy fair, it was warmly received and started flying off the shelves.
We have noted that this game is one of the hot topics for Christmas 2011 and for early 2012 and beyond, so we thought we’d write a little bit about what it is, what it does and some of the specifications.

The object of the Doggy Doo game
Feed the dog a doggy treat and pump the lead as per instructions. If the dog ends up doing a poop on your turn, then you scoop the poop. It is the first player to 3 that wins. 2 – 4 players are allowed to play.

All you do is place the dog in the centre of the table and each player receives one shovel.

Feeding your Doggy
You take the dog food out of the food container and flatten it to make a 10 mm thick layer of dog food. Use the mold to cut out your dog treats. This is the exact amount/quantity that you will need to feed the dog (please remove all excess cuttings of plasticine). You take the treat and feed the dog. You use the feeder bone to help move the food into the dogs mouth, through and down till it won’t go any further. (Watch so the rubber bands which are attached to the bone don’t move out of position).
Starting the game
The youngest player will start the game and roll the die. The symbols on each side of the die tell you what each action a player must carry out.

Exchange shovel with a player of your choice
Winning the Doggy Doo Game
Your doggie doo game finishes when one player has collected three pieces of the doggies doo on their shovel. This player will win the game.
After playing each round all the “dog food” is collected by the winning player and put back in the container to be used for the next round of the game. Now a new round can commence.
